About BluePrint3D

Hi, I'm Stuart Hares. I built BluePrint3D because I needed these modules myself, running real Magento stores — not because I set out to be an extension vendor.

Background

I've served in the RAF since 2002 as an RAF Cyberspace Communications Specialist. Currently in the training environment, teaching new recruits how to become competent Technicians and Engineers. I hold a degree in Computing and IT, and I'm a qualified instructor for Cisco Networking Academy's Introduction to Networking and IT Essentials courses.

Professional Registration

Rather than relying on commercial vendor certificates, my expertise is validated through independent, third-party accreditation. I hold dual professional engineering registrations with institutions licensed by the UK Engineering Council:

Magento, Specifically

I've been running Magento sites in my own time since 2009 — 17 years — as an early adopter back on version 1.3. That personal experience grew into professional work across multiple projects and businesses. Today I run BluePrint3D's own live store day to day, and maintain a second production Magento store for a family business. Every module sold here exists because I built it to solve a real problem on one of those stores first — not as a theoretical feature checklist.
