Terms of Service: Care Plans, Hourly Help & Store Watch

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms cover the Magento care plans, hourly help and Store Watch monitoring sold on blueprint3d.dev. They're written in plain English; if anything isn't clear, email [email protected] before you buy.

1. Who we are

BluePrint3D Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13473806). Contact: [email protected]. "We" and "I" mean BluePrint3D Ltd; "you" means the person or business buying.

2. Prices

  • Prices are fixed and published on the care plans page. You pay the price shown, whether you buy online or talk to us first.
  • BluePrint3D Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
  • Work beyond a plan's included hours is charged at the published hourly rates (£85 for 1 hour, £240 for 3 hours, £375 for 5 hours). We always agree it with you in writing (email is fine) before starting.
  • If we ever change a care plan's price, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

3. How ordering works

  • Paying online, or asking us to set something up for you, is an order. It isn't a contract yet.
  • We'll review your store and either confirm or decline your order by email within 1 working day. The contract starts when we confirm.
  • If we decline, for example because your store needs something we don't offer, you get a full refund, and any subscription is cancelled. Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 2 working days.

4. Care plans

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance through PayPal, starting on the day you pay.
  • Each plan includes a set number of development or support hours per month. Unused hours don't carry over to the next month.
  • Cancel any time, from your PayPal account or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next payment; your plan continues to the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part months, except as set out in section 9.

5. Hourly help

  • Hours are valid for 6 months from when we confirm your order and can be used across more than one problem.
  • If a job will take longer than the hours you've booked, we'll tell you and ask before going further.
  • If you change your mind before any work has started, you get a full refund. Once work has started, unused hours aren't refundable, but they stay valid for the 6 months.

6. Store Watch

  • Store Watch is automated monitoring of your store from the outside: uptime checks, checks for new outside scripts, a daily health check, certificate and domain expiry reminders and a monthly report. The free plan is the monthly report only.
  • The £5 plan is billed monthly in advance through PayPal and starts as soon as you sign up. Section 3 doesn't apply to it.
  • Cancel any time from your Store Watch status page (the link is in every email) or your PayPal account. Monitoring stops when you cancel and no further payments are taken. We don't refund part months, except as set out in section 9.
  • Monitoring is best effort. It can't spot every problem, outage or harmful script, checks can occasionally be delayed or missed, and it isn't a security audit or malware scan. It tells you about problems; fixing them is separate work, always agreed with you and priced first.
  • Only sign up a store you own or look after. We may stop monitoring a store if its owner asks us to.

7. Response times and working hours

  • We reply within 1 working day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays).
  • Planned work, such as patching and upgrades, is scheduled with you, outside your busiest trading times where possible.
  • Our plans don't include out-of-hours or emergency cover.

8. What we each do

We will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill, explain what we're doing in plain English, tell you before making any change that could affect your live store, and make sure a backup exists before major changes.

You will give us the access we need (we'll suggest a safe way to share passwords, never by plain email), tell us if anyone else is working on the store, and keep ownership of and control over your store, hosting and accounts. A staging copy of your store is strongly recommended for testing updates.

9. If you're buying as a consumer

If you're buying for personal use rather than for a business, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the contract starting. If you've asked us to start work within those 14 days, we may deduct the value of work already done. This doesn't affect any of your other legal rights.

10. Liability

We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for indirect business losses such as lost sales or profits, where the law allows us to exclude them. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 3 months before the problem arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law.

11. Ending the agreement

You can cancel as described above. We can end a plan with 30 days' notice, or straight away if a payment fails and isn't sorted within 14 days, or if we're asked to do something unlawful or unsafe.

12. Your data

We treat everything we see on your store as confidential and only use it to provide the service. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
